# Who owns the properties that are being listed on your platform? Lofty is a marketplace. Vetted sellers list their properties on the Lofty platform in order to sell them. Once the property is fully funded by token holders, the newly formed LLC (that has the property under contract) closes on the property with the Title company. At this point, the token holders (co-owners) of the property become owners via a membership interest in the LLC that owns the property.
